Charitable Organisation of the Year at Highland Heroes Awards

We are absolutely over the moon to share that we have been awarded Charitable Organisation of the Year at the Highland Heroes Awards 2024!

Last night’s ceremony was nothing short of magical, and waking up today still feels like a dream. We’re honoured, proud, and truly humbled to be recognised in this way, especially alongside such incredible charities doing life-changing work across the Highlands.

To our fellow finalists: James Support Group, New Start Highland, and Caithness KLICS Young Carers, we want to say a heartfelt congratulations. The work you do is vital, and it’s a privilege to share a space with organisations who care so deeply about their communities.

We never could have imagined how quickly this charity would grow or how much love and support we’d receive from the community. What started as a small, family-led mission to help vulnerable children and families has blossomed into something powerful. And none of it would have been possible without you, our supporters, donors, fundraisers, and volunteers.

This award belongs to every person who has donated a cot, dropped off clothes, bought a raffle ticket, shared our posts, or just believed in our mission. You’ve helped us support thousands of children with essentials that every child deserves—warm clothes, nappies, school uniforms, and more. You’ve helped us show families that they’re not alone.

Thank you to Highland News & Media for this incredible honour, and to the Drumossie Hotel for hosting such a beautiful and inspiring night. We left with full hearts and motivation to keep pushing forward.

We might still be in shock, but we’re more determined than ever to keep making a difference.

Here’s to the amazing communities of the Highlands. Here’s to the children and families we serve. And here’s to all of you, for helping us make Halo what it is!

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. 💛
