It was all hands on deck today at our new Halo office in Alness, and we were lucky to have some extra help from Alex and Will from Ross County Football Club!
With several care packages going out to families across the Highlands, their support made a big difference. From selecting essential items to carefully putting everything together, the boys jumped right in, and we’re so grateful for their time and teamwork.
We know that child poverty continues to impact families across the Highlands with 1 in 4 children in the Highlands living in poverty. These numbers are more than just statistics, they represent real families who are facing daily challenges and struggle to purchase necessities like clothing, nappies, toiletries, and formula. At Halo, we work every day to bridge that gap and ensure no child goes without the essentials they need to feel safe, warm, and cared for.
Community partnerships like the one we have with Ross County FC play a key role in helping us meet the growing demand. Having Alex and Will in the office today wasn’t just helpful, it was a real reminder of the power of local people and organisations coming together to make a difference.
